About Us
Having studied and worked in several countries in Europe opened up our eyes to new places and cultures, and increased our appetite to see the rest of the globe too. After our first wonderful trip together to Asia, back in 2012, we realized that there weren't enough holidays in the year to travel to faraway destinations and see the real face of these countries with no rush or limiting ourselves to the top tourist attractions. We wanted to take in more of the richness of each place and allow ourselves time to enjoy them.
So we decided to make a few changes in our lives! First of all, in 2016 we took a 6-months career break to travel the world, then we moved to Australia to discover an entirely new part of the globe! We have met fantastic people on our the way who inspired us to learn more about the real face of the countries we visit and to try to make a positive impact to the local communities. Discovering new cultures and places that are not on most travel itineraries have become our passion.
Since 2016 we`ve been sharing our cultural, economic and human insights on this blog about the unique corners and real people of some of the most beautiful countries in the world that we have seen and learnt during our travel adventures. We aim to give you some ideas and inspiration of the depth of experiences you can gain while traveling while we also include some practical advice for organizing your next holiday or the round trip of your dreams.
